Technology has evolved to help those of us who have trouble remembering passwords for websites and devices, with fingerprint and face recognition now a feature of many technology devices.
Now you can pre-order Nymi, a wristband which authenticates who you are by your heart beat, rather than your finger or face.
Every morning the Nymi checks your ECG pattern, verifying you for use on all the accounts connected to your technology devices, removing the need to enter passwords every time you want to access an application or device. It doesn’t necessarily do this by heart rate, but by the unique shape of your ECG pattern.
It also vibrates when you have new notifications, can unlock your car door, control your smart television, and can even wirelessly pay for your shopping.
Nymi retails at $99 (~£60) and is available for pre-order, shipping this summer.
