QardioArm is a blood pressure monitor designed with apple aesthetics in mind, looking modern and simple whilst being convenient and easy to use.
The monitor is sleek and discreet, there’s no buttons or tangling wires. It’s as simple as unwrapping the black band around your arm and pressing a button on your smart phone app.
Your blood pressure measurement is transmitted wirelessly to your app and is stored, allowing you to pick up on unusual trends, and to share the information with your health professional.
High blood pressure, known as the silent killer, usually presents with no noticeable symptoms, and picking up on it early is important for minimising the risk of developing other health conditions.
At present though, most blood pressure monitors are big and bulky, restraining them to a dusty cupboard at home. The QardioArm has been developed to fit effortlessly in to your life, fitting in your pocket to take to the office, and having aesthetics that make it a pleasure to use. Put simply, this device could make you more likely to want to measure your blood pressure.
QardioArm works with iPhone 4s or later, iPad Air, iPad 3rd generation or later, iPad mini, and iPod Touch 5th generation of later. It is in its final stage of receiving clearance from the US FDA and EU product directives and will be available to ship as soon as clearance is obtained, retailing for $99 (£60).
